该仪器是一套通过多种组件的组合产品。既能完成岩石力学性质试验，又能开展土的力学性质的新型试验仪器，岩石直剪仪（便携式）是按国家行业标准（SLT264-2020）《水利水电工程岩石试验规程》，（JTG E41-2005）《公路工程岩石试验规程》的规定而研制的，该仪器采用平推法，主要适用于岩块、结构面（如节理面、层里面、片里面、辟裂面等位置）和混凝土（或砂浆）与岩石接触面（胶结面）的直剪试验，以及混凝土与其他材料结合面或整体抗剪断强度试验。该机结构简单、轻便、直观，维修方便，可野外使用，试验数据数字显示、准确可靠。
